Positioning Aging Public Housing and Mixed-Finance Properties for Success

Today, it is more important than ever for public housing authorities to effectively execute their asset management responsibilities for Mixed-Finance developments. As many Mixed-Finance properties reach the end of their initial 15-year tax credit compliance periods, they often undergo changes in ownership and may need to secure additional funds to address accumulating capital needs. When this happens, PHAs are responsible for securing the required HUD approvals.
