NAHRO’s Policy and Legislative Affairs team works to educate Congress, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and other federal agencies about the programs NAHRO members administer and the resources and guidance they need, and provides resources for NAHRO members to do the same.
NAHRO Priorities
America has a housing crisis, and we are helping to solve it. NAHRO’s Legislative Policy Priorities are:
Increase housing affordability by improving federal programs.
Strengthen Communities by increasing housing supply.
Reduce and prevent homelessness by expanding housing and community supports.
Improve outcomes for American families by streamlining requirements and strengthening federal agencies.
