May 26, 2026 — This past month, HUD has confirmed that funding for the Resident Opportunities and Self Sufficiency Service Coordinators (ROSS-SC) program should be coming out shortly. 

The anticipated award announcement date was April 30, 2026, however the announcement was delayed. According to the NOFO, the performance period expected start date is June 1, 2026.

NAHRO does not have a confirmed date that the awards will be announced, but grantees should expect to hear about ROSS-SC awards in the coming weeks.
