Every day, housers make decisions that determine what young people can access, afford, and count on. Those young people are almost never at the table. This session is about rethinking the decisions that shape youth housing stability, and it’s where that starts to change.
Using a youth persona built from real experiences across NAHRO member managed communities, Marshall Ganz’s Public Narrative framework, and Roger Hart’s Ladder of Participation, participants trace one agency decision to its human cost. Then the room turns to itself: What is working where you are, what is not, and what you cannot fix alone.
You will leave with one commitment you can act on immediately, and a direct line to NAHRO to help you build on it. Because it begins with YOUth!
