Starting January 2026: Ethics Required for NAHRO Recertification

Effective January 1, 2026, NAHRO’s on-demand training Ethics for Housers will be required for recertification of all NAHRO certifications. Only NAHRO’s ethics training can meet the requirement — no equivalent trainings from other providers will be accepted.

Ethics for Housers is a self-paced training, free for NAHRO members, and takes approximately one hour to complete. Featuring real-world scenarios and practical insights, this course empowers you to navigate ethical challenges with confidence and integrity. After completing this training, participants will be able to:

• Identify how ethics builds public trust and safeguards the integrity of the housing sector. 
• Recognize common ethical challenges and apply best practices to manage conflicts of interest effectively. 
• Consider potential practices and policies that encourage ethical behavior across your organization.
