HUD Awards $130 Million in Choice Neighborhoods Grants

On April 23, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced that four communities across the country received a combined $130 million to redevelop severely distressed public housing and to revitalize surrounding neighborhoods.

Congratulations to the following housing authorities:

• Fort Worth Housing Solutions / City of Fort Worth, TX : $35,000,000
• Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles / City of Los Angeles, CA: $35,000,000
• Housing Authority of the City of Winston-Salem / City of Winston-Salem, NC: $30,000,000
• Philadelphia Housing Authority / City of Philadelphia, PA: $30,000,000
