Young adults (ages 18–24) experiencing homelessness require approaches that are developmentally appropriate, youth‑driven, and grounded in authentic partnership. This session will explore how the Greater Houston Continuum of Care (CoC) has leveraged the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) and subsequent system innovations to prevent and reduce young adult homelessness at scale. Participants will learn how Houston engaged young adults with lived experience as paid partners and decision‑makers, built cross‑sector collaborations, and blended public and private funding to design effective housing and service interventions. The session will highlight both successes and challenges.
