June 5, 2026—One June 4, HUD announced that it had roughly $8 million dollars available for the FY 2026 Public Housing Capital Fund Emergency and Disaster Grant Program (EDG). These grants may address a range of emergency situations or non-presidentially declared disasters. More information on these grants is available on HUD’s Emergency Disaster Webpage.

HUD has announced the following EDG webinar dates:

• Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 3:00p ET,
• Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 3:00p ET, and
• Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 3:00p ET.
