Jobs Plus Application Extended, FSS Applications Due As Soon As Possible!

On October 27, HUD extended the application deadline for the Jobs Plus grant to December 29, 2025.

An estimated $21.6 million in grant funds will be made available and HUD expects to issue 15 awards. The minimum amount of funding available is $1.6 million and the maximum is $3.7 million. The grant application, whose deadline was originally the same day it was extended, is available on Grants.gov.

Past grantees may apply for fiscal year 2025 Jobs Plus grant funds, however grantees may not apply for the same target sites/AMPs if it was previously funded through a Jobs Plus grant.

Other Self-Sufficiency Program Updates

Additionally, grantees of the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program should have already submitted applications by October 29, 2025. However, HUD will accept late submissions if applicants have questions that need to be answered once the government reopens. The link to Notice PIH 2025-24, which outlines the FSS FY 2025 NOFO, is now back up on the website here.

For applicants of the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency Service Coordinator (ROSS-SC) program, the deadline of December 2, 2025, still remains the same. New and existing applicants that meet eligibility requirements may apply for ROSS-SC funds.
