Jeter White (CSFH)

Jeter White found his calling young. Before most people his age had figured out what they wanted to do, he was crisscrossing the country training young people and the adults who lead them in leadership and advocacy, teaching kids how to be heard and adults how to listen.

Originally from Western Massachusetts, Jeter relocated to Orlando in 2017 and built a career in theme park and hospitality management at Walt Disney World and later Universal Orlando. The work shaped him: leading guest accessibility at Universal meant making sure every guest, whatever their ability, had a real place in the experience, and running large, complex operations taught him how to keep people at the center of the machine. Designing for access and belonging on purpose is the same instinct he brings to his work now.

Jeter joined NAHRO’s Professional Development Department as a Professional Development Assistant in 2023 and came on full-time in 2025. Today he serves as Project Manager for the NAHRO LEAD Program, overseeing daily operations from formatting training materials to invoices and financials to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development. He also leads NAHRO’s It Begins with YOUth! initiatives, always with story at the center. Jeter is eager to strengthen youth leadership and advocacy in housing and community development, and to help young people claim their earned and deserved seat at the table.

Off the clock, Jeter serves as a volunteer scholarship evaluator for The San Diego Foundation, supports local arts, and gives lots of love to his two cats and his dog.
